About the role

As a Tour Leader at TRAX, you’re the person our guests remember. You’ll get the quads ready, brief each group, lead the convoy along our routes in the north of Malta and bring everyone back safely, with a great story to tell.

You’ll work alongside one or more Assistant Tour Leaders, depending on the size of the group, and take charge of the day on the ground. Full training on our routes, vehicles and safety procedures is provided.

What you’ll do

Run the day: open up, check the day’s bookings and get the right quads inspected, fuelled and ready to go.
Welcome and brief guests: check licences and paperwork, match riders to the right quad and give clear, confident safety briefings.
Lead the ride: guide the convoy along our routes, set the pace, keep the group together and make sure everyone is having a good time.
Keep it safe: read the conditions, step in when needed and adapt the route if the day calls for it.
Handle the unexpected: deal calmly with breakdowns or incidents, with back-up from the team.
Close out: do post-ride checks, log anything that needs attention, square up payments and leave everything ready for tomorrow.
Lead the team: guide your Assistant Tour Leaders and help them grow into the role.

What we’re looking for

Aged 21 or over (an insurance requirement)
A full, valid driving licence and plenty of experience driving in Malta
Good spoken English
Confident with groups and great with people: friendly, patient and professional
A strong sense of safety and good judgement under pressure
Reliable, organised and good with time
Available to work weekends and public holidays

Nice to have

Experience in tourism, guiding or leading groups
Basic mechanical know-how
Other languages
